You can still purchase QB Desktop 2024 Pro Plus and Premier Plus. But you have to call their sales team or through selected partners (tax exempt, no credit card required).

Hi Jill,
I am trying to give a reasonable breakdown of cost to a customer for a new system. Fiat's two responses were exactly what I needed.
I really do not look forward to having to deal with your sales department to order this if the proposal goes through. I have done so before and was so flaming angry at the end with all the attempts to up sell my customer (Enterprise Edition, etc, as you also mentioned). And they had to speak to the owner of the company too, to make sure we were legitimate, but did not ask the owner a single question to verify who he was, which meant up selling again and had NOTHING to do with the miserable excuse of protecting the customer's privacy and security. And of course, the owner had to be called back to the office from a job site to speak to the up seller. Your sales department made every one involved very angry and very miserable. I had wished I had never knew Quickbook existed.
Needless to say, I am, not looking forward to this part of the project. I am just warning you about the consequences of trying to up sell. Thank your for your response.

As a very small business, Quickbooks has priced me out as far as buying a stand alone from them. I'm looking for alternatives products.

Querying a Quickbooks rep if I could get a no-sub standalone was a most unpleasant customer service experience. The guy was bullying and insulting about my lack of accounting knowledge and unsophistication using Quickbooks. I thought an advantage of Quickbooks is its accessibility for users who weren't accountants. The result, I won't get their blankety-blank subscription and I see Intuit as a very poorly run company. The guy who runs it and runs their boiler room should be fired.
