QUICKBOOKS KEEP SENDING ME BACK TO THE DASHBOAR SCREEN

Ever since the new invoice format was forced on us, my quickbooks keep sending me back to the dashboard screen after closing out any window. This is severely hampering my productivity. Before the change, for example, If I were to receive a payment against a customer's invoice and click save and close it will bring me back to the invoice, and if i close the invoice it will bring me back to that customer's screen. Now it sends me back to the dashboard after receiving the payment and I have to click back to the customer screen every time. Is anyone experiencing this too? How do I get it to behave like before?

I can see how useful this feature was on your end. I'll share info about the updated invoice layout and how to remain on the customer page when receiving payments. 

 

With the updated invoice format, receiving payment there, and clicking the Save and Close tab will automatically go to the dashboard.

 

However, if you process the payment in the customer profile, let's automatically click the Receive payment tab below the Action column.

Never edit the invoice and receive the payment there because it will route back to the dashboard.

 

Moreover, to receive payment continually, select the Save and New tab to remain on the Recieve payment page.
