When updating the QuickBooks Enterprise Application, do all workstations need to be updated in order to function properly?
We are receiving a message that we need to update QuickBooks 24 Enterprise due to a Critical Update by May 31st. I am trying to figure out if all Updates to like Upgrades, where we have to install the newer version on all workstations and the server in order for all users to function properly.
Defining Update vs Upgrade in this context.
- Upgrade would be when we upgrade from QuickBooks 23 Enterprise to QuickBooks 24 Enterprise, the first set of numbers on the version are changed.
- Update would be when the subversions are pushed out for the QuickBooks 24 Enterprise. IE going from Version 24.0.1.2 to Version 24.1.2.3.
