The Quick Report in QuickBooks will always base on the account associated with the item. It’s possible that these accounts were modified that’s why the report’s categorization was mess up.
You can check this further by visiting your audit log. Just click the Gear icon at the top and select Audit Log under Tools.
However, if you're not seeing any modifications, it’d be best to contact our support team for further investigation. Here’s how to reach them:
- Click Help at the top.
- Select Contact us.
- Enter your concern under How can we help?
- Click Continue.
