I'm more than happy to show you how to connect with a live phone agent. I also see that you were in the process of upgrading your Desktop account, so I'm providing those steps down below as well. 

 

How to contact Customer Support

  1. Open QuickBooks.
  2. Go to Help, then select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
  3. Select Contact Us.
  4. Give a brief description of your issue, then select Continue.
  5. We’ll provide you a few support options. Select which one is best for you. (In this case, select Call me Back)

A phone agent will then call you at the number provided as soon as they're available. 

 

Upgrade your QuickBooks Desktop subscription

  1. When you’re ready to start, select Upgrade Now.
  2. Select the Keep old version on my computer checkbox if you also want to keep your current version of QuickBooks. Then select Let’s go. QuickBooks downloads, installs, and registers the new version for you. It also creates an updated version of your company files.
  3. When the upgrades finished, select Open QuickBooks.

Note: The upgrade may take some time depending on your internet speed and size of your company files.
