Using the Memorized transaction feature in QuickBooks Desktop helps to handle items purchased by other customers. Once you override the customer's details, the system prompts about tax implications. Still, you can use this feature in handling gift sets. 


Another option is to look for a third-party application that would help you out in saving the items used by other customers. Once you found one, you can then integrate it into the program. Here's how:

  2. In the search field, enter a keyword of the app you want.
  3. You can also review the features, benefits of the app, and even watch a demo before using it.


If you'll run reports within your company file and want to include some details, you can customize and memorize them anytime.
