Let me walk you through in cancelling your duplicate account and in sending a refund request.
You can easily login to your QuickBooks account and check its company ID. Once you've located the company ID of the duplicate account, you can proceed to the cancellation process. Here's how:
- Log in to your QuickBooks Online account.
- Once opened, go directly to the Gear icon.
- Click Account and Settings under Your Company.
- Select the Billing and Subscription tab, you'll see your company ID from there.
Once verified, you can now start the cancellation process and request for a refund.
- From the left menu, click Billing & Subscription.
- Under QuickBooks Online, click Cancel subscription.
- Choose Continue to cancel.
- If asked, select Continue to cancel again.
- Select a cancel reason and click Return Product/Duplicate .
- Wait for the confirmation that the product return was submitted successfully.
- An email will be sent to you as your refund is processed.
- Click Submit and cancel subscription.
- Select Got it.
