Payroll and STP

Hello NightOwlCo,

 

This error message often has to do with missing or incorrect information in the Business Management Software (BMS) ID or ABN fields in the company's settings. Can you please check both using the following steps.

 

Checking BMS ID:

  1. From the main Employees screen, select Payroll Settings
  2. Select ATO Settings
  3. Select Electronic Lodgement & STP
  4. Check the Business Management Software (BMS) ID. If the field is blank, please contact us to resolve the issue.

Checking the ABN:

  1. From the main Employees screen, select Payroll Settings
  2. Select ATO Settings
  3. Verify that the ABN listed is correct.
