On Receive Payments command and the Payment Entry dropdown, is there a way to clean our old entries or start fresh?

I do hundreds of Receive Payments. and the EFT entry is too far down the list to see when I first open the list, and I have to then scroll down to it. Please let me know.

Yes, rlamphere. There's a way to clean your old entries or start fresh by purging your data in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and please know that the process depends on how long you've been using the platform.

 

With regards to your EFT entries, if the transactions are at the very bottom of the list and you want to avoid scrolling all the way down, you can apply a date filter. By filtering the entries by date, you can easily view the earliest entry without having to scroll through the entire list manually.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Hover over to the + New button. 
  2. Select Receive Payment.
  3. Click the dropdown arrow to choose a customer.
  4. In the Credits section, tap the filter button then customize the date range.

  5. Hit Apply.
  6. After filtering the dates, check the box for the deposit and the box for the corresponding invoice.

  7. Tap Save and Close.

I don't think I quite understand what @rlamphere-tbcnh-  is asking either, but I don't think they want to delete their entire account.
