Can QB be set up to automatically process monthly payments via ACH payments to me from a customer? If so, how is it set up?

All the information I've seen on setting up automatic ACH payments has been for QB Online users. But I would like to know how to set them up in QB Desktop.

Recurring payments are only possible for credit card payments when using the Desktop version. Right now, the only option for ACH payment is the manual process through an invoice or sales receipt.
