I am running into a similar issue except my person has the wrong display name.  Is there a way I can alter that?  I already changed their preferred name in QuickBooks but it hasn't altered the display name in time.

Please know that if you've altered the employee's name in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and integrated QuickBooks Time (QB Time) into it, you'll have to sync it inside your QB Time account for changes to flow. We'll be happy to write down the steps to get you going:

1. Access your QuickBooks Time company.
2. On the top-right corner, click QuickBooks or the QB logo.
3. Select Import.

This didn't work.  I'm using Quickbooks Online Payroll and Quickbooks Time.  I successfully imported from inside QB Time, but it still shows the legal name for my Team member, not the preferred first name I entered in QB Online Payroll.  What am I missing?

The ability to show the preferred first name and not the legal name in QuickBooks Time from QuickBooks Online (QBO) Payroll is not yet available at the moment, even if you decide to change the preferred first name in QuickBooks Payroll it will still show the legal name in QuickBooks Time.
