Not everything you see available for reporting applies to every type of activity you can run a report against.


You are asking about Freeform text fields from the Form-based Transaction types. Go to Lists menu > Templates, and edit an invoice template, go to Additional Customization, the Header tab and the Columns tab. Header tab = these show on Transaction Based reports. Columns tab = these show on detail reports, such as P&L and sales detail.


The Journal Entry is not a Form. It is a brute force accounting entry. You didn't really tell us why you are using JE and not a Transaction function in the program that is based on Names and uses a Form.
