You can use the Expense function in QuickBooks to record the payments. Let me show you how:
- Click the Plus (+) icon in the upper-right hand of QuickBooks.
- Select Expense under Vendors.
- Enter all other details including Payee, Payment account, Payment date, and Payment method.
- Select the category used for gasoline or truck expenses in the Category section.
- Enter the Amount.
- Click Save.
