The option to give your assistant access to handle only the bookkeeping is unavailable in QuickBooks. You can go to Manage users to learn about the user types that you can add and what they can do.


Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon, then select Manage Users.
  2. Click the Add user button.
  3. Select the user type, then click Next.
  4. In the Select Access rights section, you can choose How much access do you want this user to have?
  5. Click Next, and complete the contact info.
  6. Then, click Save.
