This type of problem can happen when the pop-up windows are being blocked. Configuring the settings of your browser will help you get back up and running again.
The process differs which one you’re currently using. For Google Chrome, check out the steps below.
- Click the three-dot icon in the upper left to select Settings.
- This will open another page where you can click the Advanced link.
- Under Privacy and security, choose Site settings to select Pop-ups and redirects.
- Another page will show up where you can toggle the Allowed slider.
- If you want to keep the pop-ups blocked, add an exception for QuickBooks Online.
- Click the Add button and then key in qbo.intuit.com.
- Tap the Add menu to keep the changes.

I also suggest running the Health Checkup tool to identify any issues with the browser.
