Thank you for posting here in the Community. Let me share some clarification about the voided transactions in QuickBooks Online.


Currently, an option to undo a voided or deleted transaction is unavailable. As workaround, you can recreate the bill and apply it to the existing payment.


I suggest using the Audit log feature to retrieve the deleted information. It will help you create a new bill with the same details as the old one.




  1. Click the Gear icon in the upper-right corner.
  2. Select Audit log.
  3. Search for the deleted/voided bill.
  4. Press View below the History column. 
  5. Take note of the information. 

Once you have the information you need, please proceed with creating the bill and applying it to the payment. Please follow these steps:


  1. Click the + New option, then select Bill.
  2. Make sure the bill date is set to 2019.
  3. Enter all the necessary information.
  4. Hit Save and close.
  5. Open the payment by clicking the View/Edit option. 
  6. Press Add in the upper-right corner. 
  7. Hit Save and close.
  8. The payment will now show as Applied to the bill. 

After following the steps above, I suggest reviewing the Accounts Payable account. It should clear the available credit from the payment.
