Let's make sure to select the Events account in the item setup, brooks5.


When the item's Income account isn't properly set up, that is the reason Events account won't show in the Profit and Loss report.


Here's how to update the item setup: 

  1. Go to Sales and choose Products and Services.
  2. Click on the Edit link for the item.
  3. In the Income account, choose Events.
  4. Check the Also update this account in historical transactions box.
  5. Click on Save and Close.




Run the Profit and Loss report again. You can now see transactions for this sales account.
