I appreciate you for alerting us about this, @Mark. Let's work this out to get you going and complete your customer's invoice in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
Before anything else, may I ask if you encountered any error message when attempting to add a product or service to the invoice? Do you see the Product/Service section below the Tags section? If not, I recommend we perform the basic troubleshooting steps to ensure that this doesn't have something to do with the browser you're using.
To begin, you'll want to access your company file in an incognito or private browser. You can use these shortcut keys:
- Chrome: Ctrl+Shift+N
- Firefox: Ctrl+Shift+P
- Safari: Command+Shift+N
Once you're in, try to set up the invoice again. If it works and you're able to add a product or service, you can proceed to clear your browser's cache. Refer to this article for the steps: Clear cache and cookies to fix issues when using QuickBooks Online.
If issue persist, you can consider using other compatible browser. See this page for more information: compatible browsers.
I'll be more than happy to help you again if you need further assistance setting up an invoice in QuickBooks. Please hesitate to leave a comment below. Take care, and have a nice day!
