Can I send an invoice via text/WhatsApp and have it know it's been 'sent? I don't email to many of my customers, which seems to be the only way I can see at the moment.

Sending invoices via WhatsApp is an effective way to reach your customers and be paid faster. I'll be happy to guide you through the steps.
To send the invoice with Whatsapp on a computer:
- Open QuickBooks Online and create an invoice.
- Select the small arrow icon next to Save and send.
- Choose Save and Share (Whatsapp).

- Enter the customer's email and message you'd like your customer to see in Whatsapp.
- Select Share and Close. It will open a new tab for Whatsapp web.

- Follow on-screen instructions.
- Choose a contact to send the invoice.
- Tap the send icon t send your message.

Thank you for your reply. I have been sending them the way you're suggesting (preview and share), but don't understand why it can't change the status to sent. This is the easy way of knowing if you've sent an invoice or not.
Does the computer version say it's been sent?

It's great to have you here again in the thread, @fairless947-btin. I'll show a different method for determining when an invoice is sent via WhatsApp in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
You can reach your customers easily by sending invoices via WhatsApp. This way, it speeds up the payment process by meeting your customers where they are.
Here's how to determine if you've sent them:
- Go to Sales and select All Sales.
- Click the Gear icon.
- Under Columns, check Last Delivered.
The invoice has been sent if a date appears in the Last Delivered column.
Additionally, you can create templates for recurring invoices in QBO. This way, you don't have to send the same invoices manually because QBO automates this process for you.
