Re: Importing Opening Debtors

No one at QBO understands accounting. I am banging my head with silly US jargon. They are only IT guys who understand only plus and minus. Even the support guys do not understand simple accounting terms used in the UK or commonwealth countries. I have been advissed to do various things to solve my opening debtor balances problem that would dig me deeper with the HMRC. The opening journal entry would not post and would warn me that a Debtor account should have a name attached to the line entry but would not pinpoint the errant line especially where an account is a sub account of Debtors (why not call it trade debtors for UK users? - baffles me. Can any qualified experienced UK accountant tell me if it is worth investing in QBO with such poor support. Mind you the support guys are very curteous, but something wrong with QBO management who want to make inroads into UK market where users are more savvy.
