Hi Rjwb, If you can try signing in with your old email address to https://accounts.intuit.com/index.html and then changing the email address to something else and the user id to something else(not the one you are using for QBOA. Then save and try signing in with the new details. It sounds like there is something in that old email address which is not picking up thing correctly'Let us know how you get on😊
