I'm glad you brought this up. I recently worked with this program quite a bit. 


If you want to import your transactions to QBSE, you can use the CSV file to bring them in. Just click on the Transactions tab on the left and then use the pull-down menu next to the Add Transaction button in the upper-right hand corner of the screen. 





  • QBSE is a great option for calculating your estimated taxes and more, but it does not track COGS.  Some people that use it will pick a materials expense category for those transactions, but if that does not work with your business type, QuickBooks Online may be a better fit.
