Thank you for providing the QuickBooks version you’re using. I can walk you through the steps in viewing the Audit Trail Report.


This report shows all activities done on the company file with the name of the user who performed it. You can view the changes made on the bank reconciliation by following the steps below.

  1. Go to Reports at the top menu and select Accountant & Taxes.
  2. Choose Audit Trail.
  3. Click the Customize Report button.
  4. Go to the Filters tab.
  5. Select Account and choose the account from the list.
  6. Set Date by selecting Custom and entering the date range.
  7. Hit OK.

Once done, you should see if someone changed the status of the reconciled transactions. If so, redo the reconciliation.
