Re: In quickbooks online, how do I change the time zone for my account?

Thanks for reaching out to us through this thread, @ara1181.

I can share some insights about the report's time stamp in QBO.

QBO report settings don't have the option to manually set the time zone. However, I know a workaround for this. The dates and time in QBO servers are under Greenwich Mean Time (GMT). Aside from your computer's date and time settings, daylight savings and traveling to a different time zone are also other factors that may affect this.

The steps below will help you ensure that the internet time settings are correct:

  1. Go to your Internet's time settings.
  2. Choose Set the time and date.
  3. Select Internet Time tab.
  4. Choose Change settings..
  5. Make sure there is a check mark in the Synchronize with an internet time server box.

Run and customize your reports once again. If you’re still having difficulty setting the time zone, I’d recommend reaching out to our Customer Care team. They have the tools to access your account securely and further assist you with the use of screen sharing tool.

Please update me on how it goes by leaving a comment below. I'll be on standby for your response. Have a good one.
