It could be that you have an existing or active payroll subscription that is automatically renewed.
There are different payroll service features QuickBooks offers depending on the subscription there user subscribes with. You can check our Payroll Service Comparison Table to know if the charge amount is included in your payroll subscription.
If you're not using any of these features, you can follow these steps to cancel the subscription:
- From the Employees drop-down menu, select My Payroll Service and click Account/Billing Info.
- Sign in using your Intuit Account login and the Account Portal page will open.
- Select Cancel Service.
- Follow the on-screen steps to cancel your payroll service.
If you don’t have access to your QuickBooks Desktop Payroll, you can cancel your payroll service online through your Intuit account.
- Sign in to your Intuit Account.
- Under Products & Services, select Details next to the status of the payroll subscription that you want to cancel.
- Select Cancel Service and follow the on-screen steps to cancel your payroll service.
