I operate a vending company and want to know the best way to record the money collected from my machines. I can export a spreadsheet from my management software and import into QB.
I am thinking I should create a cash bank account and import them as sales receipts then deposit to my checking account from the cash account.

Do I have to have Items as I'm not tracking inventory in QB?
What are you vending? Seems whatever you put in the machine would be inventory since you buy it, stock it, and eventually it sells
