Re: Quickbooks desktop pro 2017 will not start

Hi there Waterville Playshop,


We can start at suppressing the QuickBooks program when opening it. This way, we can isolate the issue and working smoothly again. I'll show you how.

  1. Press and hold the Ctrl key, then double-click the QuickBooks Desktop icon. Do not release the Ctrl key until you see the "No Company Open" window, unless QuickBooks freezes, or gives you an error.
  2. Click the company file, then Click Open.

If QuickBooks freezes, please download the QuickBooks Refresher Tool to perform a mini repair on your QuickBooks Desktop.
