Printing paychecks from QuickBooks is a really simple process. Most late model printers are compatible with pre-printed checks. If you purchased the checks from Deluxe, you can look up the form number and it will give you a list of printer compatibility. Initially you may need to adjust your check alignment. Here are the instructions.

 

  1. From + New.
  2. Select Print Checks.
  3. At the bottom of the page, choose Print setup.
  4. Select the type of checks you have: voucher or standard.
  5. Load blank paper into your printer. You'll print on blank paper first, so that if you need to correct alignment, you won't waste actual checks.
  6. Select View preview and print sample, then choose the Print icon.
