QuickBooks is unable to create default preferences for file name and location. As a workaround, you can create a new folder on your local drive for invoices. Then, manually save all your invoices on that folder.

Also, you'll want to check for available supported apps that can do the work for you. We have multiple apps that integrates with QuickBooks Online. Go to the Apps tab to see a list of them.
