If you're referring to changing a vendor to a bank account in QuickBooks Online (QBO). We don't have the option to change a vendor to bank account, however, you can make the vendor inactive and create a new account.

  4. Click Edit beside New transaction.

  6. Click Yes for the confirmation.

To create a new account:

  2. Select Chart of Accounts under Your Company.
  3. Select New.
  4. In the Account Type drop-down, select the account type.
  5. In the Detail Type drop-down, select the type of account you want to create.
