Let's perform some steps to show the new email address on your invoices, john-lowell-ande.

I appreciate you for performing some steps and changing your email on your account. We can update your email address by clicking the Edit work info link when creating an invoice. Let me show you how:

  1. Click Invoices on the left menu.
  2. Tick the Create invoice tab.
  3. Tap the Edit work info link on your Profile name.
  4. Enter the new email address in the Email field.
  5. Hit Save

If the same thing happens, let's try signing in to your QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) account using a private or incognito window. There are times when a browser's cache data becomes full of frequently accessed websites or damage, it causes odd behavior when using your account. This mode doesn't use the existing cache data and helps us confirm browser-related issues. Here's how:

  • For Google Chrome browser: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • For Mozilla Firefox browser: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • For Safari browser: Command + Option + P

If it works, go back to your regular browser and clear the cache to delete those temporarily stored files and browsing history. The overtime collection of data can create corruption, however, removing this should fix the issue. You can also use other supported, up-to-date browsers to roll out the possibility of a browser-related issue.

Feel free to visit our QBSE Help Article page for more insights about managing your business.

I'd like to know how you get on after trying the steps, as I want to ensure this is resolved for you. Please leave a comment below and I'll get back to you. You have a good one.
