I'm using QB Enterprise Solutions 19 and trying to setup sales tax. I am having a problem that appears to be a system glitch. When checking Yes to the "Do you Charge Sales Tax?" in the Sales Tax Preferences, I'm prompted to setup my first tax item. No matter what I use for the Vendor name, I am told that "This name is already in use. Please choose another name." I have tried to Quick Add a new vendor. I have tried to Setup a new vendor. I have tried to enter the vendor beforehand and setup its type as a tax agency. Any way I setup my tax agency, I continue to get this message. I have tried running the Verify and Rebuild Utilities, all to no avail. Is there a workaround out there? This glitch is keeping me from setting up my import from my EDI vendor.
