Is your goal for becoming a ProAdvisor to move up the tiers to get access to more ProAdvisor benefits or something else entirely? Check out MB Raimondi’s story on why becoming a ProAdvisor was important to her. Have you been considering becoming a ProAdvisor or are you already signed up?
We would love to have you share your story.
The main reason I became a ProAdvisor was to add credibility and get support. As @SteveChase mentioned, perseverance and curiosity are key. I'm constantly learning; not just the software, but how clients use it or want to use it. There are times where I can't figure something out, so I call my "life line." The phone support I receive as a ProAdvisor is phenomenal...I can't emphasis this enough! The support team is so valuable to my business.
Hi @CherylGrindell :
For me, my personal goals for becoming a ProAdvisor was the education piece and also to get the leads from the ProAdvisor page. It was so beneficial, especially when I first started as a ProAdvisor. I can honestly say the testing (especially the Advanced test) will help you learn a higher level of expertise not only in QuickBooks but also in specialty areas. There is quite a bit of good content in all of the tests. I highly recommend!
