Learn how to categorise bank transactions with the QuickBooks mobile app on your iOS or Android device.

QuickBooks mobile app​ now uses AI to categorise your bank transactions automatically and explain why it picked that category. The refreshed view makes it easier to review transactions on your phone or spot anything that needs a second look.

You can quickly categorise bank transactions from any mobile device. In this article, we'll show you how.

  1. From the Menu ☰, tap Accounting, then tap Bank transactions.
  2. Select the bank you want to work with.
  3. Tap the transaction you want to categorise.
  4. For both iOS and Android, tap Category* and select the desired category.
  5. Tap Save.
