Hi, I am facing a problem while connecting to bank account online. I am not able to find UAE bank account in the Quickbooks option.

Hi there, prigesh.

I'll provide some information to ensure you're able to add your bank account in QuickBooks.

Here are some of the possible reasons you're having trouble connecting your UAE bank to QuickBooks Online (QBO):

  • The bank has multiple names on our list.
  • The bank is performing system maintenance.
  • There are notifications on your bank’s website that need your attention.
  • The bank isn't a participating financial institution if this is the first time you connect it to the program.

To sort this, let's first make sure to use your bank website's URL. This ensures you're using the correct listing of your UAE bank.

Here's how:

  1. Go to Banking from the left menu.
  2. Select the Add account.
  3. On your bank website's screen, copy the URL and then paste it into the Enter your bank name or URL search box.
  4. Choose the bank.
  5. Manually enter your User ID and Password for the financial institution website.
  6. Click Continue.
  7. Complete the extra security verification and select Connect.
  8. Select the Account type drop-down menu to your bank account.
  9. Click Connect.

If you have tried all the required details, and you still can't find your bank, I suggest using the Request support your bank option. This way, you're able to ask to add your bank.

Let me walk you through the steps:

  1. Click the Banking menu.
  2. Click the Add account button.
  3. When you enter your bank and click Find, you'll get the message: Hmm, we can’t find [name of the bank you entered] in our list of the supported bank.
  4. Click on the button Request support for your bank.
  5. Enter your bank's website in the field provided.
  6. Select Request.

For additional information, please check this article: Find your bank account when you connect to online banking.

If none of the above steps solves the issue, you can still be able to manually import your transactions from your bank and upload them to QuickBooks Online. Please check this article on how to perform the steps: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.

May I ask if you receive any errors while connecting your bank? I'd appreciate any further details so I can provide an accurate solution.

Please know that you're always welcome to post if you have any other concerns. I'm always here to help you.
