Great having you join us here in the Community, @ricardop-obbr-co. Let me address your concern about transferring a payment from accounts receivable (AR) to an income or account revenue.
We're unable to move amounts from the Accounts receivable account to an income or revenue account. What you can do is delete the payment in question, then create a Bank Deposit transaction. This way, you can apply it to an income or revenue account you prefer.
Here are the steps to delete a payment:
1. Go to Sales, then select All Sales.
2. From the Type column, select the payment you want to undo.
3. Select More at the bottom of the page, then Delete.
After following the steps, you can now create a bank deposit. Here’s how:
1. Select + New.
2. Select Bank Deposit.
3. From the Account ▼ dropdown, choose the account you want to put the money into.
4. Select the checkbox for each transaction you want to combine.
5. Make sure the total of the selected transactions matches your deposit slip. Use your deposit slip as a reference.
6. Select Save and New or Save and Close.
