How to undo last reconciliation

Hello tangerinecurry,

We cannot undo a reconciled period at once. However, we can undo the reconciled transactions one at a time. Here's how to do it:

  1. Select Accounting on the left menu and go to the Chart of Accounts tab.
  2. Select the affected account and click Account history.
  3. Select the transactions you want unreconcile.
  4. Click the reconciled status (R) until it is blank. This will remove the transaction from the reconciliation.
  5. Click Save and select Yes to confirm the action.

You can use this article for more information: Undo and remove transactions from reconciliations in QuickBooks Online.

You might also consider asking your accountant about this matter. They might be able to provide other options aside from undoing a reconciliation. They know what's best for you and your books.

We'll be right here if you need anything else. Have a great day!
