Good day, prateek2.
I'd like you to know that QuickBooks Online India has no plans in closing its operation. There is no report about this so therefore, you can continue using the service. You can check all our updates through our QuickBooks Blog.
Also, I understand that you want to connect your bank account to QuickBooks Online. We're unable to link Kotak Bank to QuickBooks Online because the bank's website is using Google-captcha. It is a security service that protects websites from fraud and abuse. They are not yet ready to whitelist QuickBooks Online IP address for Google-captcha authentication.
For IDFC First Bank, make sure to check the following when searching it in QuickBooks Online:
Please use this link for your reference: Connect bank and credit card accounts to QuickBooks Online.
As a workaround, you can manually import the transactions. All we need is a file from the bank that we can upload to QuickBooks Online. You can also check this link for more details: What to do if you see a bank error or bank transactions won’t download.
Post again here if you need more help. I'm looking forward to assisting you again.
Thank you very much for your reply.
Finally my IDFC is connected well. I hope you can do something for KOTAK mahindra Credit card. it's really a headache for me as the file downloaded from kotak is also in pdf format, which is not accepted by QBO.
It will be great if your team can help in integrating the kotak credit card directly with the QBO.
There is only one option to download the kotak mahindra bank statement - PDF.
PDF is not supported for upload by QBO.
Can you help me with either any solution for this or direct bank integration with Kotak mahindra credit card ?
Hello there, @prateek2.
I know the importance of integrating a bank account (Kotak Mahindra) in QuickBooks Online (QBO). This is to keep track of your real-life transactions and monitor your company's' income and expenses.
Since you're only able to download your credit card transactions through a PDF file, I'd recommend either of the following scenarios so you can import them to QBO:
Once the file is ready, you can follow the step-by-step guide in uploading your credit card transactions through this article: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.
After uploading, you need to add and match your transactions to the existing entries in QBO. You can refer to this article for the complete details: Categorise bank transactions. It also contains information about excluding personal or duplicate ones.
Additionally, I'd recommend reconciling your accounts every month. This is to effectively monitor the growth of your business and making sure your books are accurate. You can check out this article for the step-by-step guide: Reconcile an account in QBO. It also includes instructions about editing completed reconciliations.
Please know that you're always welcome to comment below if you have other concerns or follow-up inquiries about updating bank transactions in QBO. I'm just around to help. Take care always.
