Hi Steve. Ensure your subscription wasn't initialized through the UK or Ireland gateway, as this hard-codes the software to those tax engines and restricts bank connections. If the region is incorrect, you need to cancel the account and register via the Global gateway to connect with financial institutions in your preferred region.
To verify your subscription region, click the Gear icon and select Account and Settings. Under the Company tab, check the Company address or Legal address to confirm Barbados is selected. Finally, review your Subscription details to ensure your billing region matches your location. This setting determines which international bank feeds are available to your account.
If it's incorrect, you can proceed to cancel your current subscription and register via the QuickBooks Global portal for Barbados. This is necessary because regional licenses restrict search filters, preventing Caribbean banks from appearing in European versions.
