Not able to find bank in account type in chat of accounts to add the bank details. need immediate reply

There's no need to create a new account in your chart of accounts. You'll also not find your bank in the Account type when creating a new account in your COA. What you need to do is you'll want to connect your bank and credit card accounts to QuickBooks Online (QBO). Once connected, QBO will automatically create an account for your bank in your COA. To begin, here's how:

1. Go to Bookkeeping, select Transactions, then select Bank transactions (Take me there).
2. Select Connect account on the landing page if this is your first time connecting. Or select Link account if you've already created one.
3. Search for your bank. You can connect most banks, even small credit unions. A reminder, If you can’t find your bank but still want to add your transactions to QuickBooks Online, you can also manually upload bank transactions.
4. Select Continue. Then sign into your bank by entering your banking username and password.
5. Follow the onscreen steps to connect. Your bank may require additional security checks. It may take a few minutes to connect.
6. Select any accounts you want to connect like your savings, checking, or credit card. Then choose the matching account type from your chart of accounts in QuickBooks.
