I tried to "Allow billing transfer to your accountant" but I just get a pop up saying only the primary admin can make the change. I am the admin.

Then, contradicting this, the help section says: "To take advantage of your accountant's wholesale pricing, you need to ask them to take over your direct subscription. Speak to your accountant and let them know you would like them to handle your QuickBooks billing. Only your accountant can initiate this process. They will send you an invitation to join their wholesale plan, which you will need to accept." My accountant says I have to do the transfer!!!

Thanks for reply. I was using my credentials, not my accountant's which I don't have.

Anyway, I requested a callback from Quickbooks yesterday and they told me to log in to QB from browser in "incognito mode" which I did and the problem went away. Instead of a pop up telling me to log in as me (which I already was) I got a popup allowing me to select my accountant from a list of one and initiate the transfer.

This seemed a strange solution/workaround and they said it was to make a "clean login". Seems like there's a webpage or cache issue that QB should fix.

Hello, jfs1969. The error you're seeing typically occurs if you're using your accountant's login rather than your own Primary Admin credentials.

To fix this, ensure that you're using your credentials as a Primary Admin to allow the transfer to your accountant. Once you have logged in with the correct credentials, you need to start the process by selecting the Allow transfer option.

After you grant this permission, your accountant has two days to complete the transfer. To finish, your accountant must then take action on their end by following Step 3 in this article. Please note that this article is for the US, but the same principles apply to your region.

Reach out anytime if you have further clarifications about this.
