Do quick books allows customs payments like, import duties, vat etc and how to record it

Hello there, msinnovationlimi. Welcome to the Community.

Instead of importing duties, you can record the tax payment in the Tax Centre. Here's how:

  1. Go to Taxes on the left.
  2. Click the Tax drop-down arrow. Then, select the appropriate option for you.
  3. In the Returns section, locate the period for which you want to enter the payment.
  4. In the Action, column against this period.
  5. Then, click the Tax Adjustment drop-down arrow and hit Record payment.

Another way is to record an expense for this. Here's how:

  1. Go to the +New button.
  2. Select Expense under Suppliers.
  3. Enter the required information.
  4. Then, Save

I've got some article for more details about it. Here are they:

You may need an additional app to calculate the landing cost and integrate it with your QBO account.
