Once you turn the multicurrency feature on, you cannot turn it off again. Clicking this won't change your local currency, but this helps you assign customers and suppliers to their respective currencies when you add them to QuickBooks Online.
This means that you can record transactions in the currency your customers pay you and what you pay for your suppliers. Just a heads up, you cannot change their respective currencies after assigning them.
In addition, you can also assign a currency to bank accounts and credit card accounts.
To make sure you can switch to a local currency, I suggest not having the multicurrency feature turned-on. Then you can follow these steps:
