Creating a recurring invoice

I'm trying to create a recurring invoice, but when I click on "Recurring Transactions" it brings me to the "Upgrade" page. Are recurring invoices really unavailable in QBO Basic? It seems like an incredibly basic feature, and I really don't need the other features yet.

Thank you for posting here the Community. I have some information regarding the Simple Start version's capability.

 

QuickBooks Simple Start (basic) doesn't have the Recurring feature, unlike the Plus and Essentials version. For now, this option isn't included in the basic features of your subscription.

 

Please know that I appreciate your input about creating recurring transactions. We always improve the features in each version, and this preference might be added in the future.
