<dueamountinwords> Amount due in words - not woking on importing invoice layout

Hi @mahmoud-alrantis,

I'll take care of this query for you about an upload of a custom form style in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

The first thing you can check is the way your custom fields were mapped. Ensure they're mapped to their appropriate QBO fields to avoid bumping into any errors or issues.

Take a look at this sample custom form style as a reference:

You can also refer to this article: Import custom form styles for invoices or estimates. It includes troubleshooting steps at the bottom of the page that you can use for this process.

Feel free to drop a question below if you have additional concerns. I'll be around to answer them for you.

Hello, mahmoud-alrantis.

Since you've tried all the steps provided by the link above, Let's perform other troubleshooting steps so we can verify if this is related to your browser or not.

You can try using a different browser in accessing your QBO account to isolate further the issue. There are times that the browser stores frequently-accessed data, thus causing some errors or unusual behavior.

Let's try logging in to your QuickBooks Online account using a private or a different browser. Here's how:

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: press Command + Shift + N
  • Microsoft Edge: press Ctrl + Shift + P

Once logged in, go back to the custom form style to double-check if you're able to view the amount in words. If this works, it means that you need to clear the browser's cache so the system can start fresh. You can also do this task on other supported, up-to-date browsers. Clearing the cache will refresh the system, and you'll be able to work with clean trash.

Please feel free to visit me here in the Community if you have other questions in QuickBooks. Have a great day, and stay safe!

Hello @heshamfadl,

Since you're still unable to let the amount of invoice show up in words even after customizing your template, I'd recommend contacting our Customer Care Support.

With their tools, one of our specialists can pull up your account on file and investigate further what is the reason behind this unexpected behavior. To do so:

  1. Go to Help.
  2. Select Contact Us.
  3. Enter Invoice amount in words is blank in the What can we help you with? field.
  4. Click Continue.
  5. Choose a channel where you wish to connect with our dedicated support.

Additionally, I've also included this reference for a compilation of articles you can use while working with us: Manage Customers and Income for QuickBooks Online.

If there's anything else that I can help you with, please let me know in the comments below. I'll be here to lend a hand.
