I'm here to share information about why you can't open your chart of accounts from the desktop, info.


The QuickBooks Online (QBO) Windows and Mac desktop apps are no longer supported as of April 20, 2021. You’ll no longer be able to download, receive customer support, or receive software updates and bug fixes after the said date.


No worries, your QBO company isn’t affected by this update. You can continue to access your chart of accounts and other files by logging in through a supported web browser.


Here’s how you do it:

 

  1. Visit qbo.intuit.com.
  2. Enter your login credentials.
  3. Go to the Gear icon or Accounting menu, then select Chart of Accounts.
