Hi there, jonvicary-hotmai.

Thank you for visiting QuickBooks Community. I'll make sure to share some information on how the display options work in QuickBooks Online. Then, the difference between the delivery note and estimate.

A delivery note is a document that accompanies a shipment of goods. It can be used as a checklist by your customer to ensure that everything is there. With this, you can always create or print this in the system without any displays of the price.

Here's how:

  1. lick Sales, then choose Customers.
  2. Click to open the customer's profile, then go to the Transaction List tab.
  3. Choose an invoice.
  4. Click Batch actions, then click Print delivery note.

On the other hand, there are some features that are default and built-in from the QuickBooks system. That said, the ability to customize the estimate form and hide the total amount or the price of the transaction is currently unavailable in QuickBooks.

For now, I suggest manually importing and design a custom form style for your estimates or entries. This way, you're able to customise your own style to eliminate the option that appears the price. To begin with, you'll have to turn on Import Styles option.

Here's how:

  1. Click the Gear icon.
  2. Choose QuickBooks Labs
  3. Turn on Import Styles.
  4. Hit Done.

Once done, please click this article to see the detailed steps on how you start importing your own custom style: Import custom form styles for invoices or estimates.

Please refer to this article to view details on how you can easily turn an estimate into an invoice: Convert an estimate into an invoice in QuickBooks Online.

Lastly, I reccomend visiting our QuickBooks Blog to know about the latest news and updates from QuickBooks Online.

Don't hesitate to mention me in your comment below if you have any other concerns. I'll be sure to get back to you. Take care and have a nice day!
