Hi, we are from Belgium with local languages French and Dutch. We would like to send our customer invoices, quotes, and packing slips in local language. Is this possible?

Hello there, @hello-axil-bio.

Yes, you can do that with the French language at the moment. The Dutch language translation is not yet supported by QuickBooks. Although, you can check our integrated apps that might have this option.

To change the sales forms to French, you can set up the language translation to your specific customers in their profile. I'd be happy to show you how to do that.

  1. Go to the Sales menu and select Customers.
  2. Locate the customer and edit the profile.
  3. Look for the Language tab and click it.
  4. Select the drop-down icon and choose French.
  5. Select Save. This is how it looks like:

Once done, refresh the page and create a test sales form. I've added some screenshots for your reference:

To know more about this process, you can check out this article: Send invoices in different languages.

If you wanted to use another local language, you may also check this page about the integrated language translator applications with QuickBooks Online: QuickBooks Online Integrated Apps.

Let me know in the comment section if you have other questions. I'd be glad to help. Enjoy the rest of your day!

You may need an additional app to do so. It has no auto-translate feature, yet you can still manually translate your documents into any language including Chinese, Arabic, Hindi, Russian, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean and more using editable field headings and custom templates. Although this requires a bit of initial setup to translate your templates, you'll have a lot more flexibility and control over how your documents appear. Here is an example of a Commercial Invoice with both English and Chinese translations.
