How Can I add images to my invoice, instead of attaching? I would need the image to be in the same line as my products displaying?

Hello there, @contact138.

Having images on your invoices is a great way to help your customer visualize your product easily. However, you can only add images to an invoice by using the Attachment feature. The option to add pictures in the same line as your products and services in the form is not available. This will only show the details of the items. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Sales menu and choose Invoices.
  2. Select the Create invoice button.
  3. Enter the needed details.
  4. Then, scroll down to the Attachments section.
  5. Click it and browse to add the image you need to attach.
  6. Once done, click Save and close.

You can also attach photos of your products to the Product and Services page. This will help you identify the items presented. However, the images will not be displayed when you create an invoice. Let me guide you how:

  1. Navigate to the Sales menu and select Products and Services.
  2. Look for the item you need to attach an image of.
  3. Click the Edit button.
  4. Select the photo icon and browse your folders to look for the image you need to attach.
  5. Once done, click Save and close

Also modifying your sales form to reflect more of your business identity is a breeze. For a detailed guide, see this page: Customise invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online. This will provide you a video presentation on how customisation is done.

If you have additional questions about adding images to your invoice, please post a comment below. I'll be always around to lend you a hand. Have a good one.

How Can I add images to my invoice, instead of attaching? I would need the image to be in the same line as my products displaying?

Hello

Thank you for your reply, but your response doesn't answer my question.

When i issue invoices, I must add an image near my product name. Attaching wont work.

So Is there an App where I can integrate to do this?

Thanks for getting back here, @contact138.

Because we treat every business fairly, we can't recommend a specific app you can integrate. To assist you with this, you can go to the Apps menu within your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account to search for a third-party app that can help you add images near your product name. Here's how:

  1. Navigate to the Apps menu.
  2. From the search field, enter a keyword for the feature you need.
  3. Press the Enter key on your keyboard.
  4. You'll see a list of apps that suits your criteria.
  5. Then, to check other user's feedback, simply click the app and go to the Reviews tab.

Also, feel free to reach out to our Customer Care team to further help you do any of your QuickBooks tasks. Our live support operating hours are from Monday to Friday 9:30 AM to 6 PM.

Keep me posted if you have further concerns about adding images to your products when creating an invoice. I'll be on the lookout for your response. Have a good one.

Thank you, again, there is no App that has this integration.

What is the solution? how can I add it to my products? Its the most important part of the invoicing for us.

Even when I import, the invoices get rejected..

Would be great if I could have a solution

Thank you !

@contact138

Our option is very limited at the moment after QuickBooks Commerce will be bundle with QBO US version next year. There is one inventory management app with the feature you need and yet the fee starts from $300 per month for 2 users.

Hello Jerde!

Thanks for joining us here. Let me assist you in customising your invoices.

Currently, QuickBooks Online doesn't have an option to include images when issuing an invoice. You'll want to look for a third-party app that you can integrate and that can generate invoices with images. You can find the list of supported applications by visiting https://quickbooks.intuit.com/app/apps/home/.

Also, you'll want to let our engineers know that you need such an option in QuickBooks Online. Go to the Gear icon and select Feedback.

I added this link if you need help in customising your sales forms: Customise invoices, estimates, and sales receipts.

Comment again here if you need more help with invoices. Take care!

This app page does not have a solution. After 3 years of letting your engineers know that I need such an option in QuickBooks Online by going to the Gear icon and select Feedback, there is still no solution.  It really doesn't feel like the engineers or anyone at Quickbooks is listening to this or any of the Feedback.  There is a canned response to all of my feedback but never a "it's in the works" or "its never gonna happen".  Either would be a fine response.  This QBO is great if for a very narrow line of business, however, step outside of that and you're just really not valued as a customer by Intuit.

I've sent in a request myself of this exact thing.  Here's the request I've sent.  I suggest as many people as possible do the same.  I even made up a mock estimate in snagit to help them understand what we all need.

Here's what I wrote them and a copy of the picture.  The more people that request this, maybe we can actually get quickbooks to act.

"I'm trying to setup Quickbooks to be my all in one solution for job tracking as much as possible. Right now I track my individual jobs in an excel which is time consuming since most of the info is already typed into Quickbooks, I'm doing to many things twice. One thing I need in quickbooks (and I see this request a lot in the forums as well) is to be able to paste a picture of the part for the project when I do my estimate. Then if job is approved I want it to show up in my report I've created for all jobs that have been accepted. This gives me a current job list with a picture of the part for visual of what the job is. Many customer have asked for this. This really needs to be a priority and should be an easy thing to add. I've attached a picture I've mocked up where you can see we want (actually NEED) to be able to paste a picture of the project in each separate line in our invoices. This could then be also populated to lines items in reports and for the invoice as well."
