What should you search for to find the correct app? I have searched every word I could think of and haven't found any app that would allow me to import my templates from the desktop version.
Thanks for jumping in on this thread, @HorseSm.
I appreciate you taking the initiative to search for a third-party app that allows you to import invoice templates from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online (QBO). To see a wide range of options and narrow the search, you can use specific keywords, such as invoice template or import invoice. You may also read other customer reviews to help you decide which app is best for your business type and needs.
When you receive a payment from a customer, you'll have to record it in QBO to mark the invoice as paid. Otherwise, the invoice remains open and unpaid in your reports. Doing so will guarantee that your books are balanced in particular ways.
